BODY:  14,000Ltr Hot Dip Galvanized Steel tank features as follows:

Low profile tank design for low centre of gravity enhancing vehicle stability. 3x 5mm crossway tank baffle walls to minimize front and rear water surge.1x 5mm longitudinal baffle wall full length of tank to minimize sideways water surge. Splash rim integrated all around at the top of tank. All tank surfaces are Hot Dip Galvanized for corrosion protection. The exterior of the tank is top  coated white with a two-pack topcoat paint system to match the truck cab. Tank to be mounted via a flexible mounting system using spring loaded mounts either side of the body front and rear to allow for chassis flex. 3D CAD design and Trailer WIN used to ensure tank strength and axle weight distribution is perfectly balanced. Suction hose storage for 80mm suction hose assemblies. 2x 80mm suction hose assemblies to be supplied. High clearance, Heavy-duty mudguards and white rubber mud flaps fitted over drive group. All mudguards inc. steer to be fitted with spray suppression.

TANK: Water level sight gauge fitted into tank at front and rear. Front gauge to be fitted on drivers side of tank. Bright coloured float fitted into sight gauges. Funnel with 80mm (3”) hydrant top-fill system including regulation air gap and non return check valve. Hydrant fill to comply with water authority regulations. System can be used with hydrant stand pipes, overhead gantry fill or self filling with water pump.

PUMP SYSTEM: Hot shift PTO to suit automatic transmission Allison 3000 (steel tank). System includes hydraulic pump, flow control valve, pressure relief valve and check valve. HYDAC hydraulic oil tank with integrated hydraulic oil cooler. Tank fitted with return cartridge filter, oil level gauge, temperature gauge & 20 litres of 68 grade hydraulic oil. Pump engaging switch fitted into the in cab control panel in easy reach of seated operator. Pump engaging switch fitted externally LHS of body near suction system in easy reach of operator standing on ground.(to assist operator with suction filling and hose reel operation etc.)Hydraulic system to be mounted in a protected and accessible position. Hydraulic system meets the AS2671-2002 and is tested, rated and suitable for water pump. Hydraulic system in operation is below the permissible noise level of 85dB. Australian made Southern Cross 100x65x250 heavy duty cast iron water pump, approximately 2,200 LPM at pump, total 60 MTR head and 86 PSI. Water pump to be close-coupled to hydraulic drive Permco motor (Made in USA). Flexible bellows fitted between tank and pump to permit ease of removal of the pump if required and to isolate pump vibration. Enables the driver to adjust the hydraulic driven water pump speed at will from the cabin. System capable of controlling hydraulic motor speed over the entire engine speed range and is also capable of being overridden by the accelerator pedal. Water pump pressure relief valve fitted (steel tank) to allow continuous safe operation of the water pump even when all sprays are off thus preventing damage to water pump seal due to heat build up and pump cavitation.

SUCTION PIPEWORK: 80mm (3”) Pump suction system (steel tank) positioned on a 45 degree downward facing position for easy suction hose connection. The tank return line is to be plumbed directly into the tank wall. System capable of filling tank from water supplies such as rivers and holding dams and the tank can also be drained from this point. Coupling is 80mm male cam lock.

PRESSURE PIPEWORK: 80mm (3”) pipe work to be hot dip galvanised to match the incredible lifespan of the galvanised tank. 1x 80mm (3”) under body pressure fed v-jet spray bar fitted with 14 brass v-jets and removable ends for flushing. Spray bar mounted on chains for flexibility on rough terrain.1x 80mm (3”) under body pressure fed v-jet spray bar fitted with 14 brass v-jets and for flushing. SPRAYS: 1x 80mm (3”) Rear centre deflector fan spray. Fan spray, on roll groove and camlock fittings for full adjustment of spray. Fan spray to have adjustable clamp for controlling water volume, e.g. fine or heavy spray patterns. 2x 80mm (3”) rear batter deflector fan sprays. Sprays on roll groove and camlock fittings for full adjustment. Fan sprays to have adjustable clamp for controlling water volume, e.g. fine or heavy spray patterns. 2x 50mm forward mounted gutter flusher sprays mounted as high as possible under bumper at front of truck for washing down roads etc. (steel tank)

CANNON: 65mm electric Nitro water cannon including air actuated on/off valve. 8 way joy stick controller mounted in easy reach of operator for simple UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT and electric nozzle for FOG/JET STREAM spray patterns.

OUTLETS;: 1x 80mm (3”) Pressure outlet with wafer butterfly valve and cam-lock. System capable of emptying tank and pumping out to external equipment.1x 20mm (3/4”) Pressure outlet with ball valve with tap connection. (For concrete saw, pressure washers etc)

CONTROLS;: All sprays to be air over air actuated. Air lines connected to illuminated switches and mounted in a control box for in cab operation. Control box to be mounted in easy reach of operator.

HOSE REEL; Heavy duty high volume manual rewind hose reel fitted with 20m of 25mm industrial wash down  hose and adjustable fire fighting nozzle. Manual ball valve fitted in supply line..

ELECTRICAL; Heavy duty electrical harness system using Deutsch connectors and premium automotive wire for added protection in corrosive environments. IP66 rated Power distribution module fitted with fuses & relays to run water truck system whilst safeguarding OEM vehicle and electrical components. Heavy duty Hella self-adjusting reverse alarm wired to only operate when reverse gear engaged.

LIGHTING; Sub frame fitted with LED combination tail lights including reverse. Lights mounted into steel channel for protection.6x LED side clearance lights and 2x indicator lights mounted into side rail. 1 x number plate light. All wiring to be in conduit and lighting to comply with the ADR for 24hr operation. 1 x Hella LED amber beacon light fitted to top rear of tank for ultimate visibility. 1x Hella LED rear work light fitted to top rear of tank for lighting up the rear platform.

TOOLBOX: Heavy duty black powder coated steel tool box. Tool box fitted with fold out door and lockable tee handles. Approx. tool box dimensions: L800mm x W500mm x D500mm. 2 x Sets of keys supplied (all compartments keyed alike).

RUSTPROOFING: Metal sub frame and pipework to be hot dipped galvanized. Nylon spacer strips to run full length between tank sub frame and truck chassis rails to prevent corrosion. All fittings to be made from non-corrosive materials such as brass and aluminium.
